Life Drawing Archive · Bruce Thomas, London

I've been attending life drawing sessions in London for years — long enough to accumulate a body of work I'm quietly proud of. These are made IRL, in real time, with a live model. No erasing the pose. No zooming in. No undoing a stroke.

The drawings range from two-minute gestures — pure kinaesthetic shorthand — to hour-long studies where you have time to look properly, to really interrogate the weight of a limb or the fall of light on a shoulder. Most are A1 or A2 format, in charcoal, graphite or ink.

This page is an ongoing archive. I'll add new work as sessions happen.
